Our Story
More than a box, an intention
Clementina was born from a journey, a life choice, and a deep desire: to create homemade gourmet boxes in Lausanne, that bring people together, comfort, and are easily shared.
At Clementina, it all starts with a love story with food.
Even as a child, I watched my mother cook, asked a thousand questions, and quickly discovered that in my family, cooking was a true language of love. The flavors, the gestures, the time spent preparing a dish... everything mattered as much as the moment of sharing it.
At 16, I embarked on my first creations, guided by inspiration and a desire to explore.
Since then, my cooking has never stopped evolving: an instinctive cuisine, made of memories, travels, dishes tasted elsewhere and reinterpreted at home, always with the idea of bringing joy.
After a rich professional journey, from law to event management and marketing, across several countries, 2024 marks a turning point. Married a few months earlier in Venezuela, I then organized a more intimate celebration in Switzerland with loved ones who couldn't be present. At that moment, as I pondered the next step in my professional journey, a question arose: what if work could finally have meaning, soul, and emotion?
While organizing this celebration, I realized there was a gap: appetizer offerings that were beautiful, yes, but often not very generous, not very warm, and rarely designed for the true pleasure of sharing. Offers that impressed on paper, but left little room for comfort.
I then decided to create what I was looking for myself: gourmet, colorful, and carefully composed boxes, blending flavors inspired by my roots and travels with quality local ingredients. Cheeses, cold cuts, and products from a rich and generous Swiss terroir thus converse with touches from elsewhere, in compositions ready to be placed on the table and enjoyed effortlessly.
Clementina was born from this sincere desire: to offer homemade, generous, and flavorful cuisine that brings people together without complication.
